SPPEXA Phase II

In January 2016 the second three-year phase of the DFG priority program "1648 Software for Exascale Computing" (SPPEXA) started. Twelve of the thirteen existing projects from phase 1 (2013-2016) were extended, and a further four projects (ADA-FS, AIMES, ExaDG, MYX) joined.
Another innovation in Phase 2 is the internationalization of SPPEXA. Through the joint planning of DFG, ANR (Agence Nationale de la Recherche) and JST (Japan Science and Technology Agency), four bi- (German-Japanese) and three trilateral (German-French-Japanese) projects are being funded.Learn more about the SPPEXA projects www.sppexa.de
